I loved the fact that I could enter the pedestrian zone with my car, it felt like a secret agent mission! The hotel also had a beautiful garden in the remains of a Roman fortress, perfect for pretending I'm an ancient warrior. The free breakfast buffet was a nice touch too.

They only serve meals in the restaurant and the wine cellar for groups, guess I'm not important enough.

Enjoyable experience there. More than adequate and generous breakfast, lots of options available. Stylish room and neat all around. Outstandingly helpful and extremely helpful staff, EXCELLENT service.

The staff helped with baggage. Also, location was historic, at a moderate distance from Fire Tower. It was located in a relaxing area really close to quiet historical centre, and the historic attractions of Sopron, as well as the cafes, shops, and even the train station.

Great location, beautiful building, lovely room. Friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. Accessible by car. Modern and clean facilities, including bathroom. Motorbike parking available in inner courtyard. Wide choice for breakfast, with hot dishes made to order. Extensive breakfast buffet. Well situated in the center of the baroque city. Owners provided helpful advice for navigating street construction. No issues with noise.

Nicoletta and Gabro were amazing hosts. The food was terrific and the ambiance of the hotel is superb. The gardens and the artwork are really gorgeous. You feel as though you are in a grand and gracious home, not a hotel.

Towels are too small and too thin.

The location was excellant, in the middle of Sopron. We greatly enjoyed rooms with comfortable bed. More than adequate and very informative staff created a quiet atmosphere...

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The room was very spacious and elegantly adorned, it felt like a regal palace. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making me feel welcome and at home during my stay. The breakfast was diverse and included made-to-order hot dishes, such as ham and eggs, which were absolutely delicious. The location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the city and transportation was easily accessible.

    No issues.

The hotel's location is quiet and in the heart of the old town.

The hotel has no air conditioning so that the windows must stay open in the rooms and in the hallways. The problem is that in July there are a great many mosquitoes. Sleeping is very difficult with mosquitoes buzzing by one's ears. The hotel would be better in the months when there are no mosquitoes! The breakfast is mediocre compared to most other hotels we've stayed at in Hungary and Austria. The hotel restaurant is also full of mosquitoes.

Beautiful and brilliant hotel, we loved this place.

The provided breakfast was generous with fresh fruits and the usual selections of cereals, as for instance.

Loved entering the pedestrian zone through the entry system with my car, like a VIP! The remains of the Roman fortress in the garden were a nice touch. Free breakfast and airport shuttle were convenient.

So disappointed that I couldn't enjoy other meals in the restaurant and wine cellar, but hey, they're only for groups, not for me. How exclusive!

The owner and staff were all very welcoming and helpful (as well as speaking English well). The rooms were beautiful, spacious and recaptured its medieval history. The Roman ruins that were attached were also presented so tastefully. A truly memorable experience.

The restaurant was excellent. The staff treated us like family. The triple room was very large with spotless modern bathroom. The hotel was the highlight of our two week trip. Stay here. You won't be sorry!

Great location near historic market square and colorful street. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated with very clean bathrooms. The owners are family-run and offer tips, making the experience feel like home away from home.

The price is a bit high compared to others but the quality of the hotel compensates for this. The breakfast is good but conventional, and vegetarians and vegans may find limited options.

The hotel itself was beautifully appointed and we loved our room. It was luxurious, and comfortable. But the staff were easily the highlight - so friendly and accommodating. They made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip

There was nothing to fault. We were just disappointed to be there on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed. If it was anything like the rest of our experience, it would have been sensational!
